Attorney Profile

Steven C. Sosa graduated from theUniversity of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) in 1986 and from the UCLA School of Law in 1990, where he was a member of the Moot Court Honors Board and served as associate editor of the Chicano Law Review.  After graduation, he worked as a litigation associate at Lewis, D'Amato, Brisbois and Bisgaard before moving to the Legal Department of AIDS Project Los Angeles in 1994, where he assisted pro bono clients in creating their wills and powers of attorney.  He began solo practice in 1995 and, since that time, has focused his practice solely on the areas of probate and estate planning.

Steve is the past Chair of the Trust and Estates Section of the Beverly Hills Bar Association and still serves as co-Chair of the Trust and Estates Section Legislative Committee.  He has spoken at the UCLA and USC law schools about careers in probate and estate planning and the NALP Annual Conference about the aspects of solo practice.  He currently serves on the Probate Volunteer Panel of the Los Angeles County Superior Court.  Steve is also a member of the Trust and Estates Section and Litigation Section of the State Bar of California.
